Supported by: Keio University, Keio Media Design Working with Hong Kong performer Siufong Yeung and Japanese wheelchair dancer Kenta Kambara, we recently held a workshop, exploring how artists of different abilities engage with motion capture and avatar remapping in dance. Rather than framing technology as something that “empowers,” we looked at how each performer negotiates, adapts, and reimagines their practice when mediated by digital avatars. The sessions opened up fresh ways of thinking about inclusive, technology-supported performance, and highlighted the creative potential of movement beyond conventional forms....

Exhibition: Nonhumotion

Supported by: Exhibition Website: participatory art for climate action 氣候行為藝術工作坊 This project uses speculative design strategies to immerse artists in an alternative future of climate change, and ask them to design movements, engagements, and artifacts that show this future from a non-human perspective to visitors to Taikwun. When we fall into dreams, everything becomes either softer or sharper than in real life, and the time boundaries gradually blur into a realm unbounded by the tangible world. It allows the dreamer to transcend the limitations of space and time, encountering both the past and future....
