Relato is a GenAI game designed to restore our capacity for self-disclosure through interaction and relationship-building with other agentic individuals in the game world. Players have opportunities to freely interact with these “individuals”—GenAI-powered NPCs inhabiting the same world. The responses and social network development provide a semi-formal channel for sharing emotional aspects of our lives, all facilitated by GenAI.
